The French legend of football Patrice Evra enters a new arena.
Evra, the former captain of Manchester United and the French national team, concluded on Friday an agreement with the PFL to make his debut at MMA during a PFL Europe event on May 23 at the Accor Arena in Paris. Evra should participate in a Welter weight showcase against an opponent to determine.

Evra trained alongside the French star of the MMA and his fighter colleague PFL Cédric Doumbé in preparation for the fight.
“You should know now, I love this game,” Evra said in a statement. “I played on the biggest stages in the world, I won all the main trophies in football, but PFL Europe Paris will be an incredibly special evening for me.
“I have been training alongside the best in the world for years, and they will also tell you that I am ready for that. I'm going to make a show at Accor Arena on May 23, so come and watch the show.”
Evra, 43, is one of the most decorated plans of its generation. He notably participated in 273 games for the Manchester United team from the Premier League from 2005 to 14 and 81 games for the French national team from 2004 to 17. During his career, Evra sadly strident with the legendary striker Luis Suárez, 38, and revived this rivalry on Friday, calling Suárez to be his opponent in the cage PFL.

“I'm going to pay from their pocket,” wrote Evra on social networks. “He can even bite me.”
The May 23 event of PFL Europe in Paris should be titled by a light fight between Mansour Barnaoui and Archie Colgan.
