Jack Bech was one of the most emotional stories of NFL 2025 draft.
Bech’s brother Tiger was one of the 14 people killed in the attack on rue Bourbon on January 1 in New Orleans. Bech caught the winning touch in the senior Bowl, after saying this week “The biggest guardian angel of all.”

Jack Bech was able to see his NFL dream accomplished on Friday when he was selected in the second round by the Raiders of Las Vegas. Raiders receive an intriguing receiver that broke out with a new 1,034 yards season with TCU last season. They also get a player who wants to honor the memory of his late brother.
“I know that my brother had me now until the end of time. He pushes me to new peaks. He will be with me. He has the best seat of the house”, Bech Tell NFL Network in the combined scouting.
Raiders are built in attack. They made an excellent choice last year with Brock Bowers, which had a historic recruit season. They exchanged for the quarter-Arrière Geno Smith, then in the first round, the ball carrier Ashton Jeanty. Raiders are always thin in the receiver, but Bech has the talent and the opportunity to have an impact immediately.
Bech will also be one of the easiest players to root in the NFL, given the tragedy that hit his family in January.
