In many other NFL projects, Omarion Hampton would have been easily the first ball carrier in the classroom.
Ashton Jeanty overshadowed Hampton in this project. Jeanty was everyone's RB1 and there was a significant gap on the second back on the board of directors. But that says more about Jeanty's talent than any defect in Hampton's profile. Hampton has the ability to be a difference that makes its first NFL match.

He will have this chance with the Los Angeles chargeers. The charges took Hampton with the 22nd choice of draft. The charges, who signed Najee Harris during the offseason but were still on the market for a young difference that made the ball in the draft, should be happy that Hampton fell to them. It is a perfect fit for Jim Harbaugh, who likes to run the ball.
Hampton can intervene and be a starter of the day one for the loaders, even with Harris on the list. There are not many weaknesses in Hampton game. It is large, fast and a receiver capable with a strong history of production. This is why he was a fairly clear choice in the first round. The biggest question was how much he would end up going to the NFL draft as No. 2 in the class behind Jeanty.
Hampton immediately in a fantastic situation. The loads will probably give it as many races as they can manage it.
