New Delhi suspended a water sharing treatyannounced the closure of the main terrestrial border crossing with Pakistan, downgraded diplomatic ties and withdrew the visas for the Pakistani on Wednesday evening, a little more than 24 hours after the armed men killed 26 men to the cashmere administered by the Indians.
On Thursday, the series of measures announced by the Pakistani government in response notably expelled Indian diplomats and cancel the visas for Indian nationals with the exception of Sikhs pilgrims.
Pakistan has also warned that he would consider any attempt by India to stop the water supply of the Industry river an “act of war and responded with full force through the complete spectrum of national power”.
Islamabad said the Indian military advisers were “Persona Non Grata”.
“They are responsible for immediately leaving Pakistan,” said the statement.
Pakistan airspace has also been closed with an immediate effect “for all Indian or Indian airlines”, while the main border crossing of Punjab was also closed.
“All the cross -border transits of India through this road will be suspended, without exception,” said the press release.
“All trade with India, including towards and from any third country across Pakistan, is immediately suspended.”
