To the editor: I just finished watching the dodgers in the White House (“The Dodgers celebrated in the White House for the title of the World Series in 2024 by Trump“April 7). I noticed that they did not go to the stick for Los Angeles, wearing the jersey n ° 42 of Jackie Robinson, like Gustavo Arellano suggested in his column SATURDAY. In the past, I thought that taking a knee was something that a winning football team had done at the end of a match. Now, apparently, it's also one thing that a winning baseball team made at the end of a democracy. Robinson turns into his grave.

To the editor: The Dodgers gave President Trump a team jersey No. 47. It seems useless and bad to me, in fact, because Trump's own team tried to serve the website of the Ministry of Defense of the History of 42.

To the editor: The Rickey baseball branch had the conviction, the courage and the moral calls to bring Robinson to the Dodgers knowing that they would both be vilinities by their peers and a large part of the general public. Unfortunately, the Dodgers struck this time.

To the editor: The launcher Clayton Kershaw said it was honored to represent the Dodgers. He didn't say he was honored to meet Trump. He also discussed playing something bigger, the importance of humility and other qualities than the 2024 Dodgers instilled. This presentation could have been too nuanced for Trump to understand. Three cheers for dodgers.

To the editor: They say that it is not political, but it is a political victory for this president. They say that it is tradition, but it is a president who has taken a hammer at so many of our traditions, such as the rule of law and membership of the Constitution. He bask in the glory of the excellence of dodgers while he destroys our economy and aggravates life for people who need it most. But then again, the dodgers are a bunch of rich men who have now also closed their eyes to chaos and the destruction that this president caused. I am disappointed with their decision and I cannot take advantage of a team that I do not respect. Come on, angels.

To the editor: This Saturday, the Dodgers will organize an evening of appreciation of teachers in a blinding demonstration of hypocrisy and an astonishing lack of self -awareness. This promotional event will take place five days after the team met President Trump, who actively sought to undermine the very infrastructure of public education in America.
This manager Dave Roberts and his obsequious ilk made the choice to get on an airplane and cross the country to shake the hand of the man who ordered the ice to enter public schools is a slap in front of each educator of the County of Los Angeles and beyond.
Seeing the smile of Shohei Ohtani as he hugged the hand of the man who wants to remove federal surveillance for special education and students in English shows us the true character of the dodgers. They no longer represent the people of Los Angeles, but rather their own greed and selfishness without hindrances.
As a public educator, not only will I jump for the evening of appreciation of the teachers, but I will abandon my support for life -perpetuity.
