Dallas: Dallas children's theater Named Emily Ernst to be her next artistic director, succeeding Nancy Schaeffer. His mandate began on March 3.
Ernst, who co -founded Dallas Fair assembly Together, will direct the artistic programming, the development of new works, educational offers, production and staff. Co-founded by Robyn Flatt in 1984, the Dallas Children's Theater serves more than 95,000 young people and their families each year with professional productions and a robust-training arts program. As the only professional theater in northern Texas, focuses exclusively on children and families, the DCT promotes understanding through generations and cultures, nourishing an early love for literature, art and show arts. In 2023, they had a budget of around $ 4 million.
