Next year, scientists will deploy a swarm of air drones, autonomous submarines and ice sensors in a major coordinated effort to better understand how and why the icebergs stand out from the Greenland ice cap.

THE Grail projectWhich is supported by 16 million pounds of funding for funding from the Advanced Research Agency (ARIA) of the United Kingdom, aims to improve the estimates of the quantity of fresh water which enters the North Atlantic from the melting of Greenland ice cream.
