Astronomers have had a rare overview of the heart of the Milky Way thanks to an wandering star expelled from the Galactic Center.
At in the middle of our galaxy is a supermassive black hole, closely surrounded by a group of hundreds of stars. Slightly further is a larger star disc, and even more an even larger group of stars, called Nuclear Star Cluster (NSC).
