Vacation life. Awwww. Days of carefree life, reduced stress and decision -making. Sadfits and explore and take a nap at will.
This life seems so far from the daily realities of normal life. And especially in these days of social distancing and stay at home.
But friends should not be the case. Today, let's explore a few ways to bring the rituals and the routines that we find during travel in our homes. A way to lighten our charge and bring some of these vacation vibrations in our daily life.
1. Simplify your morning routine.
Do you know the ease with which you go through the mornings on vacation? The edited beauty and wardrobe routine caused by fewer choices can be easily made at home. Put aside your favorite WFH outfits and wear them. In rehearsal. Same thing with your beauty routine. Choose your favorite goods and commit to carrying them and only to them. I find that when I do this regularly, my mornings start with a little more joy and lightness that carries in my day.
2. agree to do nothing.
Sum. Read. Paint. Newspaper. All the things you save normally for the holidays – why wait? Do them now. Divide all activity into small bits at the same time – a few chapters here, a Quick nap thereA short respite to make a little art. Non -demanding activities like these will bring this Vacay Libre atmosphere in your daily life – a distraction and a bienvenue stress release during the days at home.

3. Define the atmosphere.
Consider the details of your home and create a mood. Perfect fragrance, playlist, signature cocktail. Yes. These things. Do them, even at home. Light a candle, make (or find) a reading list and create a special drink. This time use at home to define and perfect the atmosphere of your home, small pieces at a time.
4. Explore your environment.
Yes, I know that this is probably confined to your house and your neighborhood walks these days, but nevertheless, tackle them like a curious explorer. Take a different route during your evening walk, note the details of the flowers and colors of the door, listen to the birds, look at the trees flower for spring. In your house, reorganize a shelf, Change the pillows between the partsNotice the little things you have collected and adored, but not really, really noticed for a while. Soak these details, just as you would travel. Take a photo, thank, note the special in everyday life.

5. Cook a meal from a favorite place.
Did you like your trip to Thailand? A favorite meal in New York? Recreate this meal. Adjust the table, turn on candles, play music and stroll through the past of a favorite trip.
It is not because we are mainly confined to the house these days that we have to give up the beautiful simple travel pleasures. Invite curiosity, slowness and consideration of a trip to your daily routine and don't forget to enjoy the beauty of space, people and experiences around you.
