Regarding Organization systems in my houseNo room is more composed than my kitchen. This is particularly important for me because I like to cook in this space and do it almost every day. Over time, I have developed a kitchen organization system which is not necessarily pretty but which works very well for me.
Today, I share the three rules that help me maintain our kitchen organization system in place.
3 rules of the organization of the kitchen that I swear by
1. Everything has a dedicated place.
Each ingredient and kitchen utensils in our kitchen has a dedicated place. This includes small devices, pots and pots, lids, food storage containers, etc. I do not focus on perfection or assure me that each wardrobe and drawer is perfectly organized – I simply assure myself that everything adapts and comes back to its place once I have finished using it. Things are not a bit organized after a few months (partly because I am not the only one to use this space), but it takes less than half an hour to repair. In my mind, this means that this is a winning organization solution for our family.

2. Everything is easy to find.
This rule is more visible in the large pantry wardrobe of our kitchen. Here, I organize each ingredient We have by the way I cook. Similar items remain together, such as beans and rice, noodles, cooking oils and cooking ingredients. I also store almost everything in clear containers that allow me to easily see what we have on hand (and I know when it is time to fill the ingredients). These containers are my favorites! I like to cook most of what we have in the pantry before replenishing, which means that every month or two, I wipe the containers, fill them and clean everything that expired.

3. Everything is easy to reset.
We have a level of cleanliness that we try to keep in the kitchen. Even when life is chaotic, it is very easy to bring our kitchen back to a clean state and organized at the end of each day. These are the non -negotiable tasks that we perform every night (or most nights):
- Load the dishes in the dishwasher.
- Wipe the meters.
- Erase the island of personal objects.
- Put all the items that do not have an obvious place in an designated bowl on the counter to be sorted the next day.
We have no perfect stories to complete all these things every evening – and it does not matter. But I know from experience that if we get at least two or three of them, that makes a huge difference the next morning when we leave the door for the school deposit.
