When I think of festive food, the first thing that comes to mind is generally something fried or suffocation in cheese. But lately, I have made things tremble and serve the potatoes in the oven instead. I know, I know, the baked potatoes do not look like the most exciting festive food, but believe me, they are perfect festive food, especially when you add additional special toppings like an attractive cheddar. We have three pairs that shake the basic recipe from the baked potato, which all present cheeses which are a party in your mouth by themselves.

For this oven potato recipe, we worked with some flavors of Wood River Creamery. Their cheeses have delicious combinations of flavors – think of habanero mango and chipotle garlic, for example! – and are aged perfection. These cheddar gruyere cheeses only in its kind are created and handcrafted in small lots by cheese masters and Wisconsin staff. Oh, and they are recognized nationally by the most demanding cheese experts.
Very well, come back to the potatoes now. There are so many ways that you can garnish a potato in the oven, but you will always have, always, a kind of dairy product. Do not reduce a simple garnish of cheese because the simplest things do correctly do the best meals. If you want the perfect, perfect terracotta potato, add a Gruyère, salt and Creamery Wood Creamery freshly grated, salt and pepper. It will certainly be a success. You can even be creative with the type of potato you use. Sweet potatoes, red potatoes or yukon gold potatoes all worked well.
Potato basic recipe in the oven

- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
- Wash and dry four large redhead potatoes
- Rub each potato with olive oil and sprinkle with salt
- Pierces each potato several times with a fork
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 60 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked
Remove the potatoes from the oven and cool them slightly. Cut each potato in half lengthwise.
Garnish with additional Wood River Cream Gruyere Cheddar. Serve immediately. Appreciate!
Easy, huh?
Now that you've foamed the basics, here are some ways to take a notch.
Association n ° 1: Wood River Creat Traffle Black Cheddar Gruyere, Sure Cream, Caviar and Chives

For a luxurious vision of the humble baked potato, garnish with caviar and chives. The salted caviar goodness will compensate for the richness of the potato, while the chives will add a touch of freshness. The black truffle of Wood River Creamery Cheddar Gruyere is a earthy and aromatic cheese that completes and balances these flavors. It is a meal with casualness. My favorite kind of fantasy.
Association n ° 2: Cramerie of the Wood River Smoked Smoked River, Crispy Pork Chest and Fresh Herbs

This couple is guaranteed to please even the clean eaters. The crispy pork chest offers a good crunch, while the smoked cracked pepper from the Wood River river adds a little smoke that improves the overall flavor. In addition, who does not like pork belly? It is essentially bacon without all guilt. Yum!
Association n ° 3: Wood River Creammery Mango Habanero Cheddar Gruyere, Mango Salsa and Punyled Onions

If you are looking for something with a little spice, this twinning is for you. The Salsa mango adds flavor without too much heat, while the mango cheese Habenero Cheddar Gruyere by Wood River Creamero offers a little sweet heat. It's simple but so delicious.

I hope it helps with your next dinner! Remember that everything is in the garnishes. A big thank you to Wood River Creammery Cheddar Gruyere for having these SPPs pass to the next level!
