If these bear fall flat, there will be difficult questions to answer, probably about Williams. He has a huge casting around him. If Williams does not take a big step forward, the Bears should be very worried. Williams has a better configuration around him than most quarters of the NFL. The charge testifies to the depth of the Bears in attack. He was a great recruit and had 1,212 yards ago for Missouri. But it is an impressive talent for a WR3.
If the Bears played in an easier division, talking about themselves winning a division title would be easier to buy. Detroit and Minnesota won 15 and 14 games last season, respectively. Green Bay won 11. It is difficult to jump the bears until the front of the line, regardless of the quality of an offseason.

Nick Chubb: One of the unhappy parts of the NFL draft is that many veterans discover that they have lost their place in the face of a new recruit.
