Two quarters heard their name called at the end of the third round of the NFL 2025 draft. Neither did Sanders Sanders.
The first, Jalen Milroe, is an investment in the future. The Alabama quarterrier has as much upwards as any quarter of the 2025 class, but he had to land with a team that could have some patience. It was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the third round with the 92nd overall choice of the draft.

The second was even more surprised, because the Cleveland Browns selected the quarter of Oregon two choices later at n ° 94 in total. Gabriel had a long and successful university career in Oregon, Oklahoma and UCF, but was not considered a hope for the NFL of starter quality.
None of the two players was among The first five QB on the large board of Yahoo Sports.
With Sanders always on the board when the two choices were made, it will now be, at best, the sixth QB taken in the draft of the NFL 2025.
Jalen Milroe is a legitimately intriguing perspective, but not an infallible perspective
Milroe was an interesting perspective. He was undoubtedly the best athlete among all quarters of the class. He has a NFL arm strength. But development will be important.

Milroe was from top to bottom with Alabama at university. He needs refinement. It could take a year or two, and that is why Milroe was not a first -round choice. But in a league that is always looking for quarters of quality, it could be worth waiting.
“I know where I am today, I will be even better at that time next year,” said Milroe NFL scout combination. “All I try to do is to improve the team and not be unidimensional at all with regard to physical attributes on the football field. There are a lot of things I can improve, but there are a lot of things that I can say that I can certainly do.”
Milroe should have the chance to improve without much pressure to play soon. We will not know if it was a good choice or not for a while, but the potential gain is worth the bet.
