Here are the five main security prospects in the draft of the NFL 2025. (Davis Long / Yahoo Sports)
1. Malaki Starks, Georgia
Charles McDonald: Starks has experienced a season from top to bottom, but in its best, it was one of the most dominant defensive backs in the country in recent years. Everything security is a major secondary player in Georgia since he was a first -year student and seeks to bring his wide range of NFL capabilities.
Starks is a Swiss army knife that would be a real weapon with a creative defensive coordinator.
Nate Tice: Starks is modern two -way security that can line up everywhere on the field, play games and provide answers to its defensive coordinator. On a single trip by looking at Starks, you will see him play as a split field security; deeply in the post; as a thief; in the box; and in the slit.

While Starks is a good platform which is more than willing to compete and fill out the race, it can be taken out of position because of a misstep and is not a sufficiently crushing athlete to overcome it. However, he is still a good general athlete.
Starks has the skills to play in the slit or back in any type of defense. He may not have enough speed to cover all types of players in human to human situations, but he can be a tight eraser and a very strong zone defender through the defense.
2. Nick Emman, South Carolina
Nate Tice: Emmanwori is a jumbo security that has tested Indy's graphics. He is explosive and can close quickly when he diagnoses road concepts, but his tight hips make him an inconsistent coverage defender when he has to turn and run with routes.

Emmanwori is preferable when he can attack downhill, either as neighborhood security, or in a unique diagram where he can keep everything in front of him. And he has the production to correspond to his ability to close football.
Emmanwori's tests do not always appear with his film, but he is size, explosiveness, ball skills and is a voluntary set. All this gives it versatility (in theory) to move around the box at the next level. I would also like to see him do work from the slit.
Charles McDonald: Emmanwori had a monster combination that corresponded to the band on the field. It is a monster of nature that can happen where he needs in a hurry. Emmanwori could still use work with his physique at the point of attack.
3. Andrew Mukuba, Texas
Charles McDonald: Mukuba could be the most fierce defensive return of this draft class, showing no fear when it comes to decimating opponents in the open field. (See: Dry championship match.) Filling the aisle is the place where it will make its large splash games in the NFL, but it is a large thief in the middle of the field and also has roofing chops.
4. Billy Bowman, Oklahoma
Charles McDonald: Bowman is a conventional security that has a nose for the ball. Oklahoma played him deeply in his defense, but his best job came when he was closer to the melee line and was able to be an attacker in the open field. He has a lot of fans in the league and with his ability to find and get his hands on football (11 interceptions in the past three years), that's the reason to see why.
5. Xavier Watts, Notre Dame
Charles McDonald: Watts has had a productive career in the back for Fighting Irish, but is more a pure ballhawk with a little room to desire on the tackle front. However, it is difficult to ignore 13 choices in the last two seasons, which will have a lot of value for the NFL teams.
