15 Accessories in cold weather I love keeping you warm all fall and winter | Wit & Delight

While October is a time of year when many people are starting to complain about the cold, it is in fact one of my favorite periods of the year to draw inspiration from my closet. And when the temperatures drop, it is certainly not only the outfit itself that counts – it is Outdoor clothes too.

I always buy some new accessories in cold weather each year. Things like hats and mittens (and hoods!) Are heavy every fall and winter, so I like to make sure I have some quality options in rotation. Today, I share my favorite fall and winter accessories at the moment. Many pieces below are classic styles and others have a little torsion!

15 accessories in cold weather that I like

Hoods

The hoods grew up on me! I bought a few last year and I ended up wearing them a lot. I think they look cute retro and they are also incredibly practical. They can replace the need for a scarf and a hat, and they are super chic in my opinion. I particularly like That of Kule. Although it is not * technically * a hood, the shape is similar. It's now at the top of my wishes list!

1 and 1 GUNESCRAFTS SUR ETSY BARCLAVA MAIN $ 65
2 Kule the Gigi hat $ 128
3 and 3 Free people above my head $ 48

Hat hats

A quality hat is crucial during the cold winter months. I prefer the options with a thick edge and a light knit which is closely rolled up. I like to have at least a neutral option and one in a fun color!

4 Naadam the essential ribbed cashmere beanie $ 85
5 Madewwell Alpaca-Blend Beatie $ 38
6. Pearl hat $ 47 – $ 79 (depending on the color)

Scarf

Regarding scarves, I like mine to be super long, so I have the opportunity to wrap it several times. I also like to be able to wrap a scarf around my face or my head if necessary on really cold days! The functionality of a large and long scarf gives you the best of both worlds.

7 Mongolian Casgolia cashmere envelope $ 100
8 Free people shetland recycled mixture $ 48
9. Everlane The Recashmere scarf $ 140

Mittens

Mittens are not always the most practical in the sense that you cannot use your phone when you wear them, but I like a reason not to be on my phone! They are also warmer than gloves, making it a necessity on really cold days. I particularly like the styles included here. I also and I love Hestra the middlewhich are also an excellent option.

10 Ll Bean woolen mittens $ 20
11 Tenaudicalnordic on Etsy wool mittens $ 61
12 LL Harot Mountain Tueson Mittens $ 40

Socks

There is nothing like pulling on a pair of fresh and hot socks on a cold day. It is one of the little joys of life. I am very picky on the socks I like and I can attest that Bean And Bombs Make incredible wool socks. I also love a large pair of organic cotton when it is not as cold!

13 Bombas Merino Wool Velloir 4 Pack $ 76
14 Harvesting and mill organic cotton crew $ 11
15 Ll Bean Merinos Wool Ragg Singlers, 10 ″ two packs $ 35
